Zorah Temple Won First Prize

November 12, 2007

Zorah Temple won the gamedev|ro competition with 254 points. The Second Prize was won by the project The temple (Lightning Team), that got 158 points and the Third Prize was taken by Vox The Hidden Artefact (Evilworks), with 136 points.

We congratulate all participants because they came up with bold ideas and impressive temples.

We decided to participate to the second gamedev|ro contest, to keep up the good work we have started (we won the first contest with an innovative 3D Game that was made by Adrian Popovici alone).

The next step wasn’t easy because our team consisted of programmers only, and we had no opportunity to collaborate with a 3D modeler in the past.

Fortunately, Silviu Paul Iacob, an open minded 3D artist and a proud Iasi resident, wanted to become our main partner.

We later found out by reading online news that he was the the only student selected by the University to follow his high studies in Milan, Italy, the next year.

You can find more details about Zorah Temple by clicking here.

The Temple

September 29, 2007

As we are making small steps towards our goal, we’re going to participate in a competition on GD.RO ( GD.RO stands for the game development community in Romania). The goal is to create a 3D temple with all the resources we can get, but the 3d model must be original otherwise the team will be disqualified.

We don’t give any details yet but they will appear very soon because the deadline is coming fast.
